Ryan Garcia fired back at Bill Haney on social media after he posed the question of whether he pulled out of his December 24th exhibition match against the Japanese kickboxer Rukiya Anpo due to him not being able to make the 153-lb weight for the match.
Kingry noted that Bill has been talking about him “nonstop,” and he wants him to let him know when he wants his son, Devin Haney, “dropped again.” Ryan beat the former WBC light welterweight champion Haney on April 20th in front of a crowd of 19,000 fans at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Will Garcia-Haney 2 Happen?
Garcia agreeing to give Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) a rematch would likely be music to Bill’s ears, as he seems eager to have that fight take place in 2025 once Ryan’s one-year suspension expires.
Bill wants Ryan to sign up for drug testing before the rematch can happen. There’s also the negotiations, which may be a nightmare ordeal. If Bill has decided that Devin should be the A-side in the negotiations, the rematch probably won’t happen.
Get off my dick bill, you keep talking about me none stop. When you want your son to get dropped again let me know. https://t.co/JRZwApQPFa

According to Bill, Devin will take a year off. He’s not saying when he’ll fight next, but it’s probable that he’s hoping that the fight with Ryan can happen in the first half of 2025.
If Bill really wants the rematch, it would help if they dropped the lawsuit and made peace with Ryan. He wants to help Devin by beating him again, but that is not going to work in the current situation.
Garcia is in demand and can make a boatload of dough fighting a rematch against Gervonta Davis, Teofimo Lopez, Jaron Ennis, and Shakur Stevenson.
The superstar Garcia pulled out of the exhibition match due to a wrist injury he sustained in training. The match will be rescheduled at a later date.
