Tyson Fury is still looking heavy in the midsection a month before his rematch with unified three-helt heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk on December 21st at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury’s condition is alarming for an athlete going into one of the most important fights of his professional career, but the ambition may no longer exist with the former WBC champion.
Fans on social media are questioning how serious the 36-year-old Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) for this fight for him to still be fat in the belly 30 days before his important rematch with Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs), who beat the Gypsy King last time they fought on May 18th.
A $100 Million Payday: Fury’s Diminished Drive
Fury’s net worth is estimated at $140 million, and he’s reportedly earned $200 million during his 16-year career. The money that Fury has and a massive purse for the rematch with Usyk on December 21st is said to be making over $100+M.
With all that dough Fury has made, the initiative to work has evaporated, resulting in him still sporting a big belly with a month out from his second fight with the 2012 Olympic gold medalist Usyk.
Fury Blaming The Judges For His Failures
“There’s no secret that I’m going in there to knock you out because I don’t think I’m going to get a decision no matter what I do,” said Tyson Fury to James Becker, sounding jaded, disillusioned with a defeatest mindset heading into his Rematch with Oleksandr Usyk a month from now on December 21st.
“I don’t think I’m going to get a boxing decision. So, I’m going to have to take it out of the judges’ decision like I did in America that time [Deontay Wilder rematch in February 2020], and I got to get him out of there.”
As you can see, Fury has a victim mindset going into his rematch with Usyk, believing he was wronged in his previous defeat against him on May 18th. Instead of looking at his performance and admitting to himself that he fought poorly, he’s blaming the judges.
Fury’s attitude is the worst that a person could have. He doesn’t have the self-esteem to admit he’d made mistakes. So, instead, Fury is deflecting blame.
Revenge on the mind…💭
